Lili Reinhart is a fresh burrata of an actor: bright and approachable on the surface, with far more nerve showing through than you might expect. She has learned to let restraint do the work, trusting the camera to catch what she does not say.
Start with Hustlers. Annabelle moves through the film with a particular kind of hunger, and Reinhart plays it without announcement, letting the character's choices curdle slowly from survival into something harder. Chemical Hearts asks for vulnerability without vanity; a teenage girl processing heartbreak gets the full gravity of her performance, no shortcuts. Riverdale kept her in one role for six years, and she found new layers in Betty Cooper every season, a woman becoming more complicated as the series let her off the leash. The Simpsons voice work proved she could land a joke with nothing but timing and tone.
Reinhart does not coast through a scene. She settles into it, lets it sit, finds what is underneath the obvious choice. That kind of patience is rare in actors her age, and rarer still when the roles come easy. Like burrata at its best, she is most interesting when you cut into the middle.

I really loved Lili as Olive! Perfect casting and excellent chemistry with Adam. The only lower point for me was the chemistry in the sex scene which I thought was lacking but she was a really really good Olive overall, and one of her stronger acting performances.
